The spreading of the deadly Coronavirus (Covid-19) is a calamity of unprecedented proportions, the likes of which the world has not witnessed in recent times. No region has been spared with the latest figures reporting over 182,000 affected and over 7,100 dead.
We need not stress why the world should take this situation extremely seriously and exercise caution to contain and halt the spread of this virus. Allowing the situation to spin out of control is something we should try to avoid at all costs.
As a responsible dental office practicing biological dentistry, Houston Biological Dentist likes to emphasize that we are taking all stringent measures possible to ensure the health and safety of our patients, employees and all members of the public who may walk into our office.
While we keep our office open to serve your dentistry needs, maintaining top-notch sanitary and hygienic conditions continues to be a priority. We adhere to the strict guidelines laid down by national and global health organizations, some of which are:
- Wiping everything in our dental office including doorknobs, computers, countertops, and all handles with an oxygen/ozone spray to disinfect after cleaning.
- All dental equipment that is too large to be placed in the heat sterilizer including x-ray machines is sprayed and wiped.
- Washing hands and rinsing them in ozone water
- Swishing mouth with oxygen water
- Rinsing eyes with oxygenated saline drops
We can assure you that you need not entertain any worries or fears about keeping your dental appointments with us. We also encourage everyone to maintain a strong immune system, which would help fight the disease. This has been evident in China, where they are administering IV Vit C to combat the Coronavirus.
We continue to monitor the situation and follow information and advice released by health organizations. We will keep on updating you as and when information is made available. Please do not hesitate to call us at (713) 497-1355 if you need any information about our services.
